Dueck's Mechanical in the Town of Whitemouth and Kurian Forest Products near Elma, show great potential. Established in 1989 by Lavern Dueck, Dueck's Mechanical quickly grew into the manufacturing of Diamond Shelters i.e.: metal framed polyurethane covered storage and housing for livestock, machinery and aircraft.
Turning from industry to the environment, one would expect positive vision from a area as pristine as the RM of Whitemouth - hence the Whitemouth Reynolds Waste Management facility. This was constructed as a third party operation between the RM of Whitemouth, the RM of Reynolds and the Department of Natural Resources (Whiteshell Park). Located 5 minutes southeast of the Town of Whitemouth, and as one of the most advanced facilities in Manitoba. It grinds and composts household waste, sorts and bales recyclables, thus eliminating the need for landfill site - truly a regional asset.
Quiet, positive growth best describes the atmosphere here in the RM of Whitemouth. Whether on a day hike, a canoe trip, doing business, or looking to purchase or build a future home, The RM of Whitemouth has a great deal to offer.
The RM of Whitemouth is a great place to live, invest and raise a family.
